Walt Disney
Walter Elias Disney, better known as Walt Disney,
was born on 5th December 1901 in Chicago.
His parents, Elias and Flora, had aside of Walt
also three other sons and a daughter.
In one’s own right he had two daughters called Diane Marie and Sharon Mae with his wife Lillian.
At the age of 65 Walt Disney died on the 15th December 1966 in Burbank, due to lung cancer.
Career
Walt was always intrested in drawing and art. At the age of 18, he worked for the
«Kansas City Slide Company».
Where he made the-one-minute-cartoons Newman Laugh-O-Grams in his freetime. He went into business for oneself.
But after finishing a new cartoon, called Alice’s Wonderland, the studio was closed.
Walt recognized that he hadn’t a future in Kansas City.
So he went aged 21 with only 40 Dollar to Hollywood.
At first he got no job. But than the rental company M.J Winkler engaged him and on the 16th Oktobre 1923 the agreement was signed.
The same day is the beginning of
«The Disney Brothers Studio». Till now Roy, his brother, was in charge of finances and Walt was the man with the ideas.
After the Alice-Cartoons they produced the cartoon-series «Oswald the lucky rabbit» and some others followed.
But Walt didn’t draw anymore.
His cartoons were so profitable, that he could produce a full-length cartoon feature.
After three years work
«Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs»
were finshed, in 1937, awarded with a especialness, a Oscar in normal size and seven little one.
Many films like that followed.
1954 the Disney TV-show started and one year later the
Disneyland
near L.A opened.
Mickey Mouse
The next big point in my presentation is Mickey Mouse. The one 1,20 metre high mouse is a worldstar and today mainly known as a icon of The WDC, that means The Walt Disney Company.

Walter lost the authorisations for the cartoon-series

Storyline
The younger brother of king Mufasa, Scar, is jealous of the claim to power of his nephew Simba.
After an abortive try to kill Simba, he slays Mufasa and makes Simba leave the Pride Lands.
Simba meets Timon and Pumbaa, with whom he grows up, while the Pride Lands are suffering under Scar’s rulership.
After meeting Nala and his father’s ghost, he decides to come back to the Pride Rock.
The rightful king, Simba, takes over his place and leads the Pride Lands back to peace and richness.
Music
Together with Tim Rice, Elton John wrote five famous songs, like
«Circle of life»
and
«Hakuna Matata».
«Can you feel the love tonight», which can be heard during the end credits, was sang by himself.
Hans Zimmer completed the whole thing with traditonal African music and a Zulu-.....
