Dear Pamela,

I hope you are doing well. It has been such a long time since I have written to you, but now I have very exciting news for you. You know, that I always wanted to travel to South America. This big wish has come true at last. I have spent my winter holidays in Argentina. It is such a beautiful country, where many people of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds live together as a strong community.

I have really enjoyed my stay and I am still overwhelmed by the many different impressions.

I have visited many beautiful places and sights. In the center of Buenos Aires they have antique churches, interesting museums and modern buildings. I was fascinated by the popular tourist attraction 'La Boca’. This place is famous for its colorful houses and its tango. I have also visited the Tierra del Fuego National Park. The landscapes, waterfalls, swamp areas and rock formations were truly breath-taking.

I can only partially agree with this statement. I think it applies only to certain groups or people. This statement is certainly true for manufacturers. For example goods must be produced in the fastest way possible to minimize costs. This is the only way to get the most possible profit for the goods.

It’s a fact that nowadays a lot of adults are spending much time at work, in order that they can afford a life full of luxury. But when people work too much, they don’t have the time to enjoy all the luxury things.

Sure, money is important for elementary things. Without money we would have no roof over our head, no food and no clothes. But there are quite a few things you can’t buy. For instance, money can’t buy you happiness. Furthermore, it can’t buy you true love, a caring family, real friends or good health.

And one thing's for sure. The time of your life is a more valuable thing than money. You can use your time to make more money, but since lifetime of every human being is limited, you can't use your money to buy extra time. Each day that passed away is lost forever and you will not get it back.
